Message From The Mayor, Calvin D. Abrahamson

We're on the move!

This is the Village of Montmartre slogan, as we approach the 100th Anniversary of the Village and Rural Municipality. Population figures have dropped in rural Saskatchewan but our Village has maintained the same level for over forty years (near 500). Montmartre, located 50 miles southeast of Regina is on paved highway. Our Village has a regional park which provides a walking trail, swimming pool, ball diamonds and a beach volleyball court. A nine hole golf course serves the entire area. The Village has paved streets, and a good water supply. We have an excellent library with computers available to the public for personal use and high-speed access. Best of all we have several lots for residential development. These lots are connected to the sewage and water systems. There are several low cost housing units in the Village. We have a Health care centre and Doctor Services, two times a week. Our school serves K-12. Classes in the arts and recreation are available at minimal prices. Our business section offers many services and products at competitive prices.
