Montmartre is home to the Ice Dogs, a children's hockey team that was selected to be in the Hockeyville 2006 competetion.  The Ice Sculpture was created by the Procyk / Breuckner family.

Beach Volleyball
This double Beach Volleyball court is a new youth initiative undertaken with help from Saskatchewan Culture and Youth.  Located at Kemoca Regional Park.

Cadets
Get ready for...excitement! Army Cadets do trekking, orienteering, precision drill, team sports, public speaking, summer camps, first-aid, camping, music, leadership training and more. The 2988 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps of Montmartre, has members from Kipling, Windthorst, Glenavon, Montmartre, Odessa, Fillmore and Vibank. Meetings are held every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Cadet Building. Cadets must be 12 years old to join, and there are no fees to join.

Curling
The Montmartre Curling Club starts its season in October offering leagues for both the competitive and casual curler. Due to the club's artificial ice, Super League starts in October and features some of the most competitive curlers from the area. This league runs on Fridays until the end of December and finishes off with play offs. League curling starts the second week of November. Dance
The Montmartre Dance Club offers a variety of lessons including tap and jazz. Ballet classes are also offered for the younger girls. Dance club members attend a number of competitions throughout the year and wrap up the dance season with a spectacular local show. Disc Golf
The 2nd Disc Golf course in Saskatchewan was developed in Kemoca Regional Park. It is a nine hole course with a total of 2325 feet and a par of 35. It takes approximately 30 minutes to play. Golf
An amazing nine-hole golf course with large trees and a water feature is located just outside of town. Sand greens allow the fees to be some of the lowest anywhere at just $5 a round for adults. Click on the Kemoca Park link for more information.

Hockey 
Children and youth in Montmartre have the opportunity to play Hockey. Players may combine with surrounding towns like Wolseley, Glenavon and Odessa to create a team. The Montmartre-Glenavon Rivals are the competitive senior hockey team who play in the Qu'Appelle Valley Hockey league. See their information at www.qvhl.net. The "Beer and Sausage League" is active with a group of players forming a Montmartre team.

Kemoca Park Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool is open from the end of June to the end of August annually. Swimming lessons are offered for all ages. Public swimming is offered, along with family swim, lap swim, and midnight swims. For more information click on the Kemoca Park link.

Kidsport
Kidsport Montmartre serves the area of Montmartre, Candiac and Kendal. Should you require financial assistance for your child to participate in sport and cultural activities, applications are accepted for children up to the age of 18. Individual grants ranging up to $200 are available. These applications are confidentially screened by two members of our local committee to ensure the financial need and legitimacy. Grants also provide financial support for community programs, registration or membership fees, and/or necessary equipment. Application forms can be picked up at Montmartre School , Village Office and Centre 48. Program grant applications for sports teams and organizations are available.

Minor Ball
Baseball is an extremely popular activity in Montmartre. Kemoca Regional Park ball diamonds are complete with covered dugouts and come to life almost every day of the week during ball season. Children aged 3 to 18 come out to play ball. The younger children participate in blast ball and toss ball while kids six and up begin to enter organized leagues and travel to surrounding communities for games. Running Club
We have a group of avid runners at all levels of training. We get together for group runs to train for 5K, 10K, relays and half marathons. Join us and set goals for yourself!

Skating
The Montmartre Skating Rink is an active facility with a modern canteen and dressing rooms. The ice is natural so the season starts in December. Figure Skating and CanSkate lessons are offered : Contact Sandi Kerbs at 424-2007 for more information. The Rink holds public skating sessions, and skating parties are often hosted as well. For tournaments at the Rink, ice rental is free (not free for family functions). Montmartre Skating Rink is also used by the school children for some School Physical Education classes. Skating Fees: Daily $3.00, Single $60.00, Family $110.00
Ice Rental Fees: Free for hockey tournaments, Family Skate rental is $25.00 per hour, any other ice rental is $60 per hour.

Soccer
Montmartre offers an established soccer program for all ages, from 3 to 18. Soccer season is May and June with practices, games and tournaments at our Soccer Fields at Kemoca Park. Adult Recreation Soccer is also offered. Soccer has proven to be a growing sport in Montmartre and fun is had by all ! Contact Tammy Bachelu for more information.
