CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
Montmartre Farmer's Market Cooperative Limited is a non-profit organization that organize and host two major events each year. The first event is held on the last Saturday in April and the second is on the third Saturday of November. The events are 50 vendor table Craft Sales and Trade Shows and are held in the Montmartre School Gymnasium (Community Hall). There are also ‘mini markets’ on selected Friday mornings in July and August on Central Avenue. Contact 306 424-2202
Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization that helps to raise funds for youth in the church, provides financial assistance to help young people enter the priesthood. The K of C meet on the first Thursday of the month.
Montmartre Legion is a committee meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The Legion prepares for the annual Remembrance Day Service and is involved in public speaking and awareness within the Schools about our War Veterans.
The Lions Club is very active with meetings held on the first and 3rd Tuesday of each month. The Club is very active in fundraising for community projects and assisting with various community endeavours.
Montmartre Prairie Red Rubies are a ladies non-profit organization who enjoy life to the fullest. Members have an event once a month, with two members taking turns planning a fun and creative function for participation and enjoy together. For more information call 306 424-2697.
Welcome Basket Program, under the direction of the Economic Development and Tourism Committee, now known as the EDTC began in 2006. Sandra Brown creates baskets of items collected from the businesses and organizations, then presents them to new residents. Contact 306-424-2622
